Backgrounds and Maps!

So I've made a series of basic location backgrounds, utilizing a mixture of Photoshop and existing stock photos because I cannot draw landscapes for the life of me. I also made a basic map, and I've figured out how to get it to work as an image map where the player can click on the location to go there! It's still pretty rudimentary, but things are coming along! I have a few more backgrounds than this, but they're over the upload size for this devlog so I guess those will be a surprise when I finally finish this.

Ideally, I would want to be doing this is Visual Novel Maker because I like that software's format and it's easy to get the hang of, but since that one is Expensive and my copy I obtained through other methods doesn't work properly, I'm being forced to work in Ren'py instead. I'm not a fan of Ren'py due to some less than stellar encounters when asking for help on forums, but it seems to be the best free game software for someone who sucks at coding like myself. If someone can suggest another, I am all ears.
